Personal Bias Audit Framework

Every investor has a dominant bias. The difference between investors who improve and those who repeat the same mistakes is knowing which bias is theirs — and designing a countermeasure specific to it.

Why This Matters

Generic bias awareness ("I need to watch out for confirmation bias") is insufficient. The research consistently shows that knowing about a bias does not neutralise it. What reduces bias impact is a structured, personalised audit that identifies your dominant tendencies from your actual decision history, then produces a specific intervention targeted at those tendencies. This framework operationalises that audit.
