Investor Codex (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy of everyone who uses this platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your information.
1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your name and email address via Clerk, our authentication provider. When you mark lessons as complete or access reports, we store that activity in our database (Supabase) to power your learning dashboard. If you make a purchase, payment details are handled entirely by Razorpay — we do not store card or bank account numbers. We also collect standard web analytics data (page views, session duration) to understand how the platform is used.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Investor Codex platform — to track your learning progress, give you access to reports you have purchased, and send you transactional emails (account verification, purchase receipts). We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate the platform: Clerk (authentication), Supabase (database), Cloudflare R2 (file storage), Algolia (search), Razorpay (payments), and Beehiiv (newsletter). Each of these services has its own privacy policy. Your use of the platform constitutes acceptance of their respective terms.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. financial records).
5. Your Rights
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to request correction of inaccurate data, and to request deletion of your account and associated data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below.
6. Cookies
We use cookies for authentication session management (via Clerk) and for analytics. No advertising cookies are used on this platform.
